It depends on what fits your site best. Most clients get content that either embeds directly into the page or opens in a pop-up viewer. Either way, the end result is the same: a display area your visitors can interact with and rotate on their own.
A few setups tend to work well. A pop-up embed keeps page load times fast without hurting overall site performance, while a direct in-page embed is better when you want the rotational content to be the centerpiece of the page. There's more than one right answer here — the main thing to optimize for is a smooth experience for whoever's viewing it.
You've got options: DVD, FTP, HTTP download, our cloud hosting service, a compressed zip file, or content embedded directly into your site. Whatever method you choose, everything we deliver is optimized to load fast, and we send along examples that make dropping it into your existing site quick and painless.
By default, you get the full player and all the asset files, no restrictions. That covers most clients just fine. If you do need extra protection against third-party reuse, our team can walk you through some straightforward ways to lock that down and keep an eye on how your content is being used elsewhere.
Typical turnaround is around five business days, though larger batches take a bit longer. If you're in a hurry, rush orders can be turned around in as little as 24 hours from when we receive the product — just flag that with sales up front so we can plan for it.
Generally that's on you — you'll ship the product to us and cover that cost, along with a prepaid return label (UPS or FedEx preferred) so we can track it both ways. We send everything back in its original packaging for insurance purposes. If it's a low-cost item you don't need returned, we can keep it instead — just sign a quick waiver first.
Yes. Beyond 360° spins, we also shoot standard product photography. Talk to our team and we'll figure out which approach actually fits what you need.
Usually, yes. The main exception is anything with chemical contents or otherwise questionable to keep around. Ask your sales consultant and they'll tell you if your specific product qualifies.
Pretty easily, in most cases. You can embed the player directly in your page or use a thumbnail that opens a pop-up — both are typically copy-paste simple once you've got your delivered assets. Everything's built on standard HTML5 and modern JavaScript, so it works across browsers and devices without extra fuss. Check our code examples page for working samples you can pull from directly.
Yes, and we mean that fully — you get the original source files and complete control over the exported content, no strings attached. Drop it onto your own hosting via FTP and use it however makes sense for you.
Our hardware is custom-built specifically for our studios, so it's not something we sell directly. If you want to shoot your own 360° content in-house, check out our sister site, Zcapture.com — they offer an open hardware platform built for exactly that.
We have to say no on that one — we need payment in actual currency, not inventory, however much our team might enjoy the products that come through. That said, if you want to leave one behind as a gift, we won't turn it down.
Anything that arrives in blister packs, sealed plastic, or retail boxes will get opened so we can actually shoot the product — so if you can ship it already unpackaged, that saves time and shipping costs on both ends. We'll do our best to restore packaging to its original look afterward, though in cases where the packaging itself gets damaged in the process, we'll return the product without it.
We take this seriously. As a rule, we don't share which companies or products we've worked with publicly unless you're fine with it. We understand some projects are sensitive, whether due to the product itself or marketing timing, and our team is trained to keep things discreet on a client-by-client basis. If you need something more formal, like an NDA, just ask and we'll get one in place.
That's what pan view is for. Instead of a full rotation, you can get a narrower interactive view — anywhere from 90° to 270° — which works well for highlighting specific details alongside (or instead of) a full 360° shot. Our product detail page example shows how the two views can work together.
Most products are no problem at all. The trickier cases are things like glass, crystal, or chrome — highly reflective or transparent surfaces don't always photograph cleanly against a plain white background. We'll work with what you've got, and may suggest a darker background instead to bring out the product's detail. Just give your rep a heads-up if your product falls into this category.
